At first glance, it would be easier to associate Deontay Wilder with basketball rather than boxing. The 6’7″ WBC Heavyweight Champion has everything that it takes to be a global superstar. He has personality, incredible knockout power with a 38-0 (37KO’s) record, he’s well spoken and very humble. Despite this, he’s still unknown to people outside of boxing and the reason for this is the fact that the boxing media and fans in the U.S. nowadays do not support American fighters. Whether you’re a boxing fan or not, please support Deontay and check him out!
If “Poison” Junior Jones received the social media and promotional attention that far lesser skilled fighters get today, he would have without a doubt achieved the stardom that he deserved. The former bantamweight and super bantamweight world champion had beautiful skills, was exciting to watch, and not afraid to fight anyone!! Check him out and follow him on Facebook!!
In the biggest fight in the history of combat sports, Floyd “Money” Mayweather stopped UFC Superstar Conor McGregor in what is said to be Floyd’s last fight. The win takes Floyd to 50-0. Nonetheless, all praise should go to Conor for showing what a real fighter and champion is all about and not afraid of challenging himself! He did extremely well, but fatigue and Floyd’s constant pressure eventually caught up to him. He’s still a beast!
